The Edmond City Jail only serves the city of Edmond and is a privately owned and operated facility. This is the booking facility for the Edmond City Police and each arrest that is made within the city limits is processed at this center. During processing there will be a set of fingerprints taken, a photograph will be taken called a mug shot, and the details of the arrest and expected charges will all be entered into the criminal record of the arrestee.
