About the Carter County Jail & Sheriff
Current Inmates https://carter-911-tn.zuercherportal.com/#/inmates Inmates are allowed one 60-minute visit each weekend onsite, and may receive unlimited online visits. To learn more about visitation or to schedule an online visit, click below. You can also an onsite visit by calling (423) 542-5801 on Thursdays, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST. Send Funds to an inmate via https://correctpay.com/ Online Visitation A: Inmates will visit with friends and family from a video visitation terminal in their housing unit. Friends and family will visit from a similar visitation terminal in the public visitation room located in the administration lobby of the Jail. These visits are referred to as “onsite” or “public” visitations. The new system will continue to allow visitors to come to the jail for on-site visitation and will now also allow friends and family to conduct a “remote” or “at-home” visit from home using a computer, webcam and high-speed internet connection. A: Visits need to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. You will need to use the https://securustech.net/ website. Follow the steps to schedule an ‘Onsite Visit’. When you schedule your visit, be sure to write down the following items: 1. The date and time of your visit 2. The six digit PIN number because you will enter this at the time of your visit 3. The video terminal you are assigned to (I.E. Vis_1, Vis_2, etc.) Q: When can I visit? A: On-site Public visitation hours are Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am – 5:40 pm At-home visits can be scheduled Monday – Friday from 7:00 am – 9:00 pm. (Times May Vary due to jail lockdown times.)

Costs vary and are subject to change, but generally visits range from $5.00 to 15.00 for a 15 to 30 minute online or on-site video visit.

How do you know if your Inmate will be available during the time you schedule?
The Securus system knows the times that Carter County Jail & Sheriff inmates are available for remote video visits.
It will not allow you to schedule a visit with your inmate if they are not available or the video visitation kiosk(s) in the jail are booked already.
