The Stonewall County Jail, located in the single story, brick county courthouse along with the Sheriff's Department, has a capacity of 10 beds. The corner of the courthouse building where the facility is located is the corner of Broadway (aka US-380) and Tower Lane.

Visitation hours are Wednesday and Sunday, from 2:00PM - 3:00PM, allowing 15 minutes for each visit. It is such a small county that the jail staff is familiar with 99% of the inmates who are brought to their facility.

Commissary services are facilitated by allowing family members to pick up groceries from the store and drop off items at the jail under the inmate's name. This enables inmates to access necessary items through their family's assistance.
