Hernando is in the Fifth Judicial Circuit. A first appearance judge reviews arrests within 24 hours. The usual outcomes:
- ROR: released with a signature.
- Cash: the whole amount goes to the clerk and returns after the case, less costs.
- Bondsman: 10 percent premium, at least $100 a count, not refundable.
If Pasco, Citrus or a probation officer has a hold, bond alone won't free the person. Missed court leads to a warrant. See our Hernando bail page.
