The Official Jail Inmate Roster is where you can search for an inmate in the Osceola County Correctional Facility and find their criminal charges, bond amount, visitation eligibility, and mugshot. If you have questions, call the jail at 407-742-4444. You can also search Florida’s wanted persons list, which includes Osceola County, and look up court cases in the counties that participate in the state’s online records portal.
Osceola County Correctional Facility Inmate Search
Under the Florida Constitution, most people arrested in Osceola County are entitled to reasonable pretrial release. The exceptions are capital and life felonies when the proof is evident, and cases where no conditions would protect the community. Minor misdemeanor and traffic offenses often lead to a notice to appear instead of bail. For most other charges, the Florida Supreme Court publishes a uniform statewide bond schedule each year.
To check an inmate’s bail at the Osceola County Correctional Facility, call 407-742-4444. You can also review the Florida uniform statewide bond schedule for 2026 to see the minimum bond for the charge. Circuits may set higher amounts, and some serious charges require a first appearance before a judge. The county accepts payment in cash, by surety bond, or by property bond, and release on personal recognizance is also possible.
While licensed for 919 inmates, the Osceola County Correctional Facility often exceeds that number, especially on weekends. Most city and county jails in Florida turn over at least 35-40% of their inmates each month, another 25-30% every 90 days, and another 15-20% every six months. Approximately 8-9% remain incarcerated for six to twelve months. Those held longer than a year are typically facing serious charges such as rape or murder, which take longer to prepare for trial, so offenders arrested in this county on those charges stay in one of the Osceola County facilities much longer.
Law enforcement agencies in Osceola County arrest and detain approximately 20,920 offenders every year.

⇓ Learn more ⇓ Show lessThe Osceola County Correctional Facility in Florida has a design capacity of 919. It hosts around 4706 bookings yearly and is considered a regional minimum security jail with a capacity of around 1200 inmates. The Osceola County Correctional Facility is located at 402 Simpson Rd., Kissimmee, FL 34744. The facility can be contacted by phone at (407) 742-4444.
The Osceola County Jail is at 402 Simpson Road, Kissimmee, FL 34744, and its main number is (407) 742-4444. It is operated by the Osceola County Corrections Department under the Board of County Commissioners, not by the Sheriff. The jail was built in 1986, the county took it over in 1997, and it was renovated in 1998–1999. It has a design capacity of 911 and averaged 846 people a day in 2025. The facility is accredited by the Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission and the National Commission on Correctional Health Care. Nurses are on staff around the clock, and there are daily sick calls. The jail holds men and women awaiting trial and people serving county sentences of up to a year. Longer sentences are served in state prison. Programs include adult education and GED, ESL, drug and alcohol programs, anger management, parenting, job readiness and computer skills.
People arrested in Osceola County are booked at this jail. Florida law requires a first appearance before a judge within 24 hours, and Osceola holds these hearings weekdays at 1:30 p.m. and on weekends and holidays at 10:30 a.m. That is usually when the judge sets or reviews bond. Osceola County is part of Florida’s Ninth Judicial Circuit. To see whether someone is being held, and what their bond is, use the county’s inmate search or the daily arrest report.
The Florida Constitution (Article I, Section 14) gives most defendants a right to reasonable pretrial release. It is not guaranteed in capital or life-felony cases with strong evidence, or when no conditions would keep the community safe. Until a judge weighs in, the Florida Supreme Court’s 2026 statewide bond schedule sets minimum amounts. The chief judge of the circuit may set higher ones, and some charges require a hearing before release. Low-level misdemeanors often end with a notice to appear. Osceola does not take cash for bonds. You can pay by credit or debit card online at OsceolaBail.com, or by mail with a cashier’s check or money order. You can also hire any licensed bail bond agent. By law (section 648.33), the agent’s premium must match the rate on file with the state. Details are on the county’s bond page. After a bond is posted, release usually takes 4–6 hours and can take longer.
Visits are by video through ICSolutions. Visitors are never face to face with the person inside, even at the jail. On-site visits run seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. Book them on the ICSolutions visitor site or at the lobby kiosk. Arrive 15 minutes early with photo ID, because late arrivals are turned away. Remote visits from home require a prepaid ICSolutions account, and the county lists the price as $15 for 30 minutes. Each person gets two hours of visits a week. The dress code bans open-toed shoes, plunging necklines, see-through clothing, and dresses or shorts shorter than mid-thigh. The county doesn’t publish rules for bringing children, so call ahead if you plan to bring one.
Before a court date, you can check for statewide warrants with the FDLE wanted persons search. It does not show every warrant, so for a definite answer call the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at (407) 348-2222.
Regular mail is scanned and delivered on kiosks or tablets. Address it to: Smart Communications | Osceola County Corrections, the person’s name and ID number, P.O. Box 9127, Seminole, FL 33775-9127. You may send up to ten photos, 4×6 or smaller, and no Polaroids. Books must come straight from the publisher. Legal mail goes to 402 Simpson Road. Commissary money goes through Access Corrections, online, by phone at (866) 345-1884, or at the cash-only lobby kiosk. Deposits post within 24–48 hours. Phone calls use ICSolutions ((888) 506-8407), and the first call from a new number includes a free 60 seconds. To pick up property, the person inside has to sign a release naming you, and then you call the watch commander at (407) 742-4346 to set a time. The county’s visitation, mail and commissary page has the full rules.
By bus, LYNX Link 10 (E. U.S. 192/St. Cloud) stops at US 192 & Simpson Rd., about a mile south of the jail. Most visitors drive. Circle K at 1297 Simpson Rd. is the nearest place to get gas, and Simpson Chevron is farther north at 2570 Simpson Rd. For food, there’s a Wendy’s at 2398 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy. near the bus stop and a 24-hour McDonald’s at 2576 Simpson Rd.
