Brown County Jail Inmate Roster and Search, Hiawatha, KS

Brown County's sheriff publishes a jail roster online, and it is the place to start an inmate search for the 50-bed jail at 709 Utah Street in Hiawatha. Look for the person's name there; to confirm a booking from the last few hours, or with a mugshot question, ring the sheriff's office at 785-742-7125, which doubles as the county's 24-hour dispatch. The jail, opened in 2010, averages about two dozen inmates and does not currently house prisoners for other counties, so a Brown County arrest is normally held right here. For release and transfer alerts, register on VINELink for Kansas. Filed cases and court dates show on Kansas Courts Case Search.
