San Diego East Mesa Juvenile Detention Visitation

• Monday - Friday:  2:30pm - 8:00pm by appointment only.
• The last visit scheduled will begin at 7:00pm and end at 8:00pm.
• Saturday:  No visiting
• Sunday:  8:30am - 11:00am and 12:00pm - 5:30pm.
• The last scheduled visit will begin at 4:30pm and end at 5:30pm.
• Visits will be up to 60 minutes in length.
• There will be a maximum of two visitors per youth at a time.
• You must check in at the Administration Entrance prior to your visit.

Magazines
News, special interest or sports magazines may also be mailed to an inmate as long as they are shipped directly from the publisher. Any magazines that contain profanity, weapons, pornography or other content that is adult in nature will be confiscated by the jail staff and will NOT be delivered to the inmate.

Books
The San Diego East Mesa Juvenile Detention allows books to be mailed directly to the jail from a reputable source such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble or Books-A-Million. You can order them directly from your computer and have them shipped to the inmate at the address noted.
