4. Is the NW 4th Street jail holding someone on a warrant?

It may be. North of the lake, the NW 4th Street jail books arrests on warrants from Taylor Creek, Basinger and the ranch roads. The clerk, at 863-763-2131, can explain the case and say when the next date falls. A capias, if any, is noted on the shared court records search. The Sheriff's Office runs its own warrant checks, and FDLE's statewide wanted roster fills in the rest of Florida. When a warrant has your name, a lawyer can arrange your surrender, which usually helps at bond. Families can ask the jail about visits and phone accounts.
