Anderson County Jail Visitation Schedule

Anderson County Jail, 1200 East Lacy Street, Palestine, TX 75801 | 903-729-6068

Visits are signed up for online through TarmacTech's VisitationLink scheduler from a computer, tablet or phone; a tablet in the jail lobby can be used for the same thing. Pick the person, choose an open date and time, enter your details and confirm.

  • No one gets in unless the person in custody has added them to the approved list.
  • Each person in custody gets two visits a week, 20 minutes each, and a visit can't be split or rotated among visitors; a maximum of three people may visit together.
  • Check in 20 minutes before your slot. Late arrivals are turned away.
  • Visitors 16 and older need a valid government photo ID that matches what was entered on the scheduler.
  • Minors under 16 visit only alongside an approved adult, though they need not appear on the list.
  • Leave phones, cameras, handbags and baby carriers in your car. Leaving the visitation area ends the visit.

Anderson County Jail - At-Home Video Visitation

NCIC video visits for the Anderson County Jail

Visits with someone at the Anderson County Jail in Palestine are booked ahead on the Sheriff's scheduler, TarmacTech VisitationLink, from a phone or computer, or on the tablet in the jail lobby. Choose the person, pick one of the open times the scheduler shows, enter your information exactly as it appears on your photo ID, and confirm. Only people the inmate has put on the approved list can book. The weekly allowance is two sessions of 20 minutes, and as many as three people can sit in on one. Arrive and check in 20 minutes early, because late visitors are turned away. Anyone 16 or older shows a government ID at the desk; cell phones, cameras, purses and infant carriers aren't allowed past the lobby.
