The Woodruff County Jail in Augusta is a small facility run by the Woodruff County Sheriff’s Office. It has room for about 23 people and holds men and women: some waiting for court, some serving short county sentences and some waiting for transport to the Arkansas Division of Correction. - Requests for exceptions and special requests must be forwarded through a Corrections Officer to a Shift Supervisor for approval.
- A Shift Supervisor may extend visits by reason of distance traveled, past infrequent visits, or other reason.
