Who Can Visit an Inmate in Glen Helen Rehabilitation Center
Anyone over the age of 18, who isn't on felony probation/parole and can produce a valid government-issued photo ID can be approved to visit an inmate in this jail.
If you are on parole or have a past felony conviction, you must receive permission from the Watch Commander before you can visit an inmate. It is a criminal offense in California for you to be on the grounds of a penal institution without such permission.
Visitors in San Bernardino County County will have their ID checked in a database for active warrants as well as parole or probation status. If a warrant is found, you will be arrested at the visit.
A total of five people can visit an inmate at the same time. This includes adults and children combined.
Children under age 18 must be accompanied by the parent or legal guardian.
Call 909-473-3689 to ask specific questions about this policy or click here for any updates to this policy.
It is likely that the Glen Helen Rehabilitation Center will deny visitation to anyone with a past felony conviction regardless of probation/parole status. Call 909-473-3689 prior to arriving for the specific jail guideline regarding your legal status.
If you are a co-defendant with the inmate in a pending case, your visit will be denied.
If you and the inmate are under a court order to have no contact with each other, your visit will be denied.
The Glen Helen Rehabilitation Center reserves the right to deny any person the right to enter the jail it chooses and for any reason.

Glen Helen Rehabilitation Center Visitation Tips, Rules and Guidelines
Depending on where the inmate is housed, you will visit either behind plexi-glass or face-to-face.
If you visit face-to-face, you cannot physically touch the inmate, nor can you pass anything back or forth with the inmate. To do so will get the visit terminated and you might be charged with a crime. In addition, you might be banned from visiting the facility in the future.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and guardians must provide proof of their guardianship.
Leave all personal belongings, except for your state ID in your vehicle or in a locker (if one is provided).
Children must be monitored at all times or jail staff will end the visit early.
Call 909-887-0364 or click here to go to the jail's official website for additional Rules regarding Glen Helen Rehabilitation Center visitation.
