About the Morris Community Correction Center
The Morris Community Corrections Center in Delaware has a capacity of 150 inmates. The Morris Community Corrections Center is located at 300 Water Street, Dover, DE, 19904. The visitation hours for Morris Community Correctional Center-KT in Delaware are Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. Visitors must have filled out an application and been approved prior to visiting. Morris Community Corrections Center (MCCC) is a 150-bed Level IV facility in Dover, Delaware. It houses substance abuse treatment and work release offenders. Inmates can be looked up online to find out who is in jail. Morris Community Corrections Center is a medium-security prison that accommodates approximately 150 Adult male Delaware State inmates. Morris Community Corrections Center-KT in Delaware is a Level IV facility that houses over 150 inmates. It is primarily used by immigration and Naturalization to incarcerate immigrants who have been detained and are close to being released. The facility consists of 3 dormitory-style units plus around 40 segregation cells for people posing high risk. It also offers substance abuse treatment (Crest) and work release programs.

  • Visits are to be scheduled in advance by calling 302-739-4758; Monday thru Wednesday.
  • Visits will be scheduled for the following week and will take place Monday - Sunday.
  • Most inmates may have one (1) video visit in addition to a face-to-face visit each week in fifteen (15) or thirty (30) minute increments.

How Do You Deposit Money for an Inmate in the Morris Community Correction Center?

There are five choices for putting money on an inmate's books that can be used for communication services:

1. Commissary money in the form of a money order may be mailed to:

4. Cash deposits to ConnectNetwork are now available at 26,000 retail locations nationwide including Walmart, ACE, Kmart, Kroger, and more. You’ll start the payment process online in your ConnectNetwork account, then complete your transaction with cash at a participating local retail store. Plus, many of these stores are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Find a retail store near you.

5. You can call customer service 24/7 at 877-650-4249 and get instructions for depositing money over the phone using a debit or credit card.

Postcards
The Morris Community Correction Center allows inmates to receive pre-metered postcards like the type purchased from the post office. They may also allow certain photo postcards as long as they have not been tampered with or contain images that may be considered to be obscene or violent in nature. It is best to only use blue or black ink. Always include your name and return address.

Envelopes
The Morris Community Correction Center also allows envelopes to be mailed to inmates. It is best to only use blue or black ink.

Newspapers
Newspapers may also be mailed to an inmate as long as they are shipped directly from the publisher.

Magazines
News, special interest or sports magazines may also be mailed to an inmate as long as they are shipped directly from the publisher. Any magazines that contain profanity, weapons, pornography or other content that is adult in nature will be confiscated by the jail staff and will NOT be delivered to the inmate.

Books
The Morris Community Correction Center allows books to be mailed directly to the jail from a reputable source such as AmazonBarnes & Noble or Books-A-Million. You can order them directly from your computer and have them shipped to the inmate at the address above.
Books must NOT contain images or content that are considered excessively violent, pornographic or obscene. Any book that does not meet the Morris Community Correction Center standards will be disposed of. 
Hard cover books will not be accepted by the jail due to their potential to be used as a weapon.

7. Once the photo is approved, it will be shared with your inmate(s).
