About the Glendale City Jail
The Glendale City Jail in Arizona is a medium to maximum-security facility administrated by the Glendale Police Department and can hold up to 29 male and 13 female pre-trial offenders facing misdemeanor or felony charges for a maximum of 77 hours. Access to a commissary account is available for inmates to receive and spend money on their personal items. Visiting hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 11:00am and 1:00pm to 4:00pm and Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. Visitors must be over 18 years old and present a valid government-issued photo ID. On-site and 'At Home' Video Visitation is available. Property can be picked up at the Glendale Police Department Property Room. Inmates cannot receive incoming calls but can make unlimited collect phone calls. If an inmate cannot make bail, they are transferred to the Maricopa County 4th Avenue Jail in Phoenix. The Glendale City Jail staff reserves the right to turn away anyone who is not dressed appropriately for a visit. Robert J. Campos, a former Maricopa County sex crimes prosecutor, has substantial expertise in handling cases related to sex offenses. The Glendale City Jail complies with all Federal State and local laws, ordinances and regulations that govern and regulate the housing of inmates, including a "Pay-to-Stay Weekender Program" Service Agreement with United States Department.
