What is the bail bonds process?

As soon as a bail bond company is contacted they will ask information about the arrestee’s situation, such as:

  1. where the person is being detained, what the charges are
  2. how long they’ve been in jail
  3. how long they have been living in their current residence
  4. if they work and for how long

If the bailbondsman determines that the risk is worth it they will do the appropriate paperwork and collect their fee. They will then post bail at the jail and the offender will be released.
